Bodies for Rent

Every year, thousands of people in Canada and the United States opt to take part in drug trials in exchange for money where corporations test the functionality and safety of new products and research on them. Bodies for Rent highlights how some volunteers are attempting do enough to earn a living via the practice, by putting their bodies at risk. The film follows two men who spend their days searching for eligible clinical studies, and shows the lengths they’ll go to in order to complete a trial and get paid.
